For Dragon Age: Inquisition on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Best Specialization - WARRIOR". You can't do the stun explosion because they can't be stunned but the 15% damage buff(30% if you have two) the 10% resist to everyone(20% if you have two) and the ability to heal everyone and increase their damage by 50% if you die are invaluable. Yeah, no, there isn't. It's like it was in DA2. Lord Hugo posted Sadly, I don't believe so. The Dual-Wielding Warrior was my favorite character type from DA:O, so that sucks. Dual wield Berserker/Reaver was where it was at. Second favorite character of all time next to Arcane Warrior/Blood Mage.

You will unlock the respec potions (for very cheap) before you get a spec. You can respec after getting a spec. But you cannot change your spec choice, just how many points go into it. You can repspec as many times as you can afford. They sell, respec poition in Haven for 1 G. So you can change your Starting abilities.

Overall each specialization now has a focus that makes them unique. The Rift Mage's specialty is spell spammage, which with the right setup can mean anything from massive DPS to crowd control to support specialist. The problem is that thanks to the cap on the number of abilities you can use in combat you can really only maximize one role at a time. In Dragon Age: Inquisition, there are three possible specializations for warriors: Champion, Reaver, and Templar. Champions specialize at protecting their teammates and absorbing large amounts of damage. Reavers will be similar to Dragon Age 1 and 2 – warriors that are adept at dealing large amounts of damage through hurting themselves.
Specializations are more than just a skill set. They are concepts that make (or try to make) the combat style something more unique and specific. Arcane warriors were elven mages who used their magic to increase their `` physicality '' and use a more physical and short-range combat style.
And yeah all specializations have 3 active (with 1 upgrade each), 4 passives, and 1 focus skill. 11 total points to max them out. but not all skill trees have the same setup, some have 5 active, some have 4. But they all got 4 passives. So at min its 12 to 'max' if your so inclined, 14 for others. [deleted] • 9 yr. ago.
TheDarkn1ght 9 years ago #4. An SnS reaver has a nearly identical damage output as a 2-handed reaver (theoretically even more if you craft a shield with utility slots on it) as well as the same range since Dragon-Rage is weapon agnostic. So yes, you absolutely can go dps. It doesn't have the burst damage of the rogue specs, but it's a hell of a
